Mo Mo MO

Well back in the car. More mountains, more beauty. Next stop the Columbia Ice Feailds, one of if not the largest glaciar in North America. Very cool. Me and Dave had wanted to drink yager off the ice but i guess some kid fell through the ice so now you can only get about 8meters away, so next best option yager off a cold dirty stone
Drinkin done more pictures
These girls were awsome travelers hard drinkin fightin road wariors and they almost never wanted shotgun. Alright back in the car. More mountains a stop at the posh Lake Lousie. Im not posh and got down to my boxers for a swim in the glaciar lake next to the hotel that cost more for a night than are trip didNext Stop Calgary

Wow

Well we couldent have chose a niceer place to sleep. When we started driving the next morning we were less than 20km from the entrance to the park. I went snap happy right away and i must have 100 pictures of the first few Km. It was less than 20 minutes in when nature decided to show us one its amazing creatures.
We were no more than 30meters from this massive elk. We watched him swim across a river then sit down for a rest. We drove through more amazing mountains and found the stop that had been sudjested by the warden who let us into the park. She took one look at us then let us know where to go cliff jumping. We hiked up to the bluest lake i have ever sceen. So clear you could see the bottom in places that were over 30meters deep. When we got there someone was telling us there is a cliff there 80 feet high, my sphincter tightend. That sounds like a chalange. I have never been to the top of a cliff i havent jumped dumb as that may be. Last summer i jumped the highest cliff of my life with my bestest of buddy Max, when we jumped it we thought it was around 100feet(30 meters) but max has since told me it was no more than 50. We were both sore for a month after jumping it. I figured there was no way anyone was doing an 80foot cliff. When we got closer i saw it. It was high but not as high as what me and max had jumped. Max i still think that was a solid 100 feet. I found a local who claimed he had mesured it to be 67 feet that 18.9M or a 6 storie building. Well after a few smaller clifs i knew it was time to step up. As I walked over and a croud formed. I only took a practice run, i would have waited longer to deliberated more but the show must go on
You might want to click on that one to realy see how big it is, that little spot at the top is me.
That was invigorating. And you know it always feels good to show up the locals. Funny thing im scared of hights. Hear is dave given'er that water was so beautifull.
Such a good swim.

Keep roolin

After the park we did more of what we did best drive. Another 6 or 8 hours at the wheel and we stoped to sleep, this time we just opend up a gate on the side of the highway drove in and called it a night. We set up the tents while the sky showed us the northern lights. They were faint i thought it was a cloud or the milky way but if you watched they danced.Day broke we drove. We had intended to go threw glaciar national park but the 25$ enterance fee and the fact that we were headed to what has been called "the most beautifull drive in the world" kept us driving. We did stop for a swim and a wash in a glaciar stream thats first wash of the trip and was much needed.
After a throught serch at the border we entered Canada and the largest soy feilds i had ever sceen, probably the only soy feilds i have ever sceen but it was cool endless feilds of yellow.
Are goal was on the horizon Edmonton and Daves lady were waiting. I wouldent say we were rushing but i guess i was speeding when it happend. BOOM BANG smoke and dirt filled the car i thought this is it, its over. Mermories of the acident in Portugal and the transmision giving out in Moroco filled my head but it wasent the end i got the car to the side of the road. I got out of the car walked behind it and layed on the ground in the feital position and shook. The tread had seperated from the drivers side rear tire the noise and smoke and dirt were from that tread spining at 130km and pulverising the side of the car in an area that was more bondo than car.
I was still too shook to drive after this and Dave took over for the last stretch. But we did it we arived in Edmonton befor the sun set. We checked in to the hotel the remained of the planters were at and got to work on the booze. A nice night of salsa dancing and too much yager. The next morning i felt like death and in this top form went looking for tires for the car. Dave figured if one goes the rest could. Found an amazing deal on tires and packed the car with all of our stuff. Well with are new traveler on boared the car was bit packed
We droped a bag of stuff on the greyhound and hit the road late in the day. We were headed for Jasper and Banff national park. We drove for a few hours and found a camp site, a real camp site and decided it was as good aplace as any to rest are heads. I got down to my favorit camping activity. Man Makes Fire and my second favorit camping activity Man Drinks Beer and i did these activites untill 1 ran out it wasent the fire.

Keep On trippin

Back behind the wheel drive drive drive first day we drove more than 24 hours
When we finaly stoped this was the best we could do for a camp site

This is somewere just befor or after Fargo so much driving it dosent matter. We got up hit Perkins dinner for breki and back on the road. To make save time meany meals were had on the road

We soon hit the plains thats long straight driving
But after hours it starts to change. And soon you enter the bad lands. We stoped at a beautifull look outWe drove a bit further and came to Theodore Rosevelt National Park so glad we stoped. This place is filled with stunning vistas amazing wild life realy its beautifull.
Thats Tara elegaly leaving the car and aproching the wild horses
And look this big ol thing bigger than a smart car
These were pritty cute too live in little mounds and all stand stare when you drive by
Hear is a fine example of badlands

And hear are some bad mans in bandlands

1 Great old car 2 cousins...and the Twins

So hears what i think my cousin had in mind. Drive.... Drive.... Get the Girl... Drive Drive Drive
What realy happend was a whole lota fun and yes driving.
Alot of stories over 3 weeks
I craigs list drove a girl to toronto stoped half way led her into the woods felt weird and turned back befor i got to swim. Something about leading a stranger into the woods dident fell right. I asked her when she got off the phone if that was weird she shrugged said "no you dont seem like weirdo"
Some Torornto time got to see some buddies and my beautifull god daughter who was finaly learning to walk, she dident have it perfect yet but she was practising for shopping
I tried to get in on her mid day snack but when i reached for some banana she gave me this look
Still having nightmares about it.
So the next day at redicoulosly early we hit the road. 3 Wariors me my cousin dave and his lady freinds twin sister Tara. Wait i almost forgot a very important merber of the team
Easly confused for a delorian its actualy a 1985 Toyta Tercel 4WD and this was to take us 10 000km.
First we drove to Sarnia were we would enter the states from there many Km to are first stop Chi town Chicago baby

wait thats not Chicago
Thats Chicago

Beautifull city Beers as big as your head

Middle Summer

This bit of the summer is a blur
Not to much of anything happend
I baught a truck but this is the only pik i took
Does not exactly show the beauty you get for 260$ on craigs list.
Well life went on and truck work did not. I spent my time swiming, chillen in the sauna and fishin. I was living in a den of men.... that dosent sound good but its accurite. I was living(not officialy if walter asks) on a couch in a house my cousin Dan and his buddys Walters were renting, we had a nice rotation of who would buy that days case of beer. Spent lots of time watching the garden grow skated more than any other time in my life. There are lots of good skateboarding vidios that i will try and get from walted at a future date. I did help build a huge deck bigesst deck on the block in fact
This isent the finished product ill try and get some shots of that. Me and walter faught like little wimmen the whole time but did manage to lay a beautifull stone walkway again pictures at a future date. I have to say my aunt and uncle were great boss'es this back yard was recreated on little more than craling, beef jerky and trips to the compost pile. I had an amazing time spent great times with my famalie and all this is befor the big adventure......

Long time no blog

Oh man
its been a while
done a bunch of stuff
Lots of photos
photos galore
Will start from where i left off
I was in florida rockin my retired styles
But like all good things florida had to come to an end
So hit the road with a trusty raod trippin companion
We were on a high speed burn from florida to waterloo around 2500km. We drove threw the "magestic" smokey "mountains"
They were so magestic and mountainy i only took pictures from the sun roof of the moving car. But realy there was alot of beauty along the way
Was a great drive. First time i felt realy good behind the wheel in a long time. I missed a few key shots like the "BOJENGALS" chiken restaurant i eat at, or the filthyest motel of my life so bad that Zoe walked around in circles sniffing the floor resfusing to sit down untill a put a towle down for her. Think about it an animal that will gladly sniff another dogs butt wouldent lie down.
I did the drive in 2 days and was very happy when the bridge to Canada was within sight.
I have to say the more i see of America the more i like it the people are wonderfull, so frendly and always willing to lend a helping hand. There is alot of beauty but as always there is the inverse and driving threw the ares that have been hit by the down turn in the auto industry is shoking filthy towns littered with empty houses and factory's. I dident know at this point how much America i would see this year and i feel lucky for all of it.
